Managing Personality-Disordered Parents
AFCC is collaborating with the Center for Families, Children and the Courts at the University of Baltimore to hold two training programs this December. Managing Personality-Disordered Parents, December 5-6, with Bill Eddy, MSA, JD, is a great program for parenting coordinators, mediators, attorneys, judges, court services personnel or anyone who works with separating and divorcing families. Mr. Eddy is a well know author and speaker, he is president of the High Conflict Institute.
The other program is called, Children and Divorce: The Voice of the Child and Interventions When Children Resist Parental Conflict, December 7-8, with Barbara Fidler, Ph.D., AccFM, would be relevant to almost any professional who works with separated and divorcing parents and their children. Dr. Fidler is well known for her work on alienation and reunification. She was one of the guest editors of a special edition of the Family Court Review on alienation last year as well as popular speaker at our conference on the same topic.
Please let me know if you would like more information, here is a link to the training brochure on our website. I am happy to send you some print copies of the brochure if you would be willing to distribute them.
Thank you for your time,
Erin
