Working Cars for Working Families is a group of organizations united to ensure that working families can get, keep, and use a reliable used car at fair terms. We are a coalition of varied organizations, yet we all recognize the importance of a car to the success of families. Collectively and individually we strive to improve public policy, practices, and understanding. We work in variety of areas such as:

•Improving consumer protection to stop abuses in car sales and finance and bring fairness and transparency to the marketplace.

More Than Wheels is an award-winning nonprofit organization that helps people get the best deal on a reliable and fuel-efficient car. Since its establishment in 2001, More Than Wheels has helped over 1,400 New England residents get the best deal on a new or nearly new car by negotiating with dealers to secure the lowest price and providing the lowest interest rate available.

In June 2010 (at the US Social Forum in Detroit, MI), against the backdrop of the global recession, nine sectors of excluded workers came together to found the Excluded Workers Congress. We converged around a common dream: to vastly expand the human right to organize in the United States, to win a new era of rights and policies for workers, and to transform the labor movement in this country. The Excluded Workers Congress was formed to bring “the human right to organize” to life.
