THE NEW FORECLOSURE PREVENTION 101 – A BEGINNER’S GUIDE
Please consider volunteering for Maryland’s Foreclosure Prevention Pro Bono Project and help your neighbors in need. Since the launch of the Project in July 2008, over 1,150 pro bono attorneys have been trained and more than 2,500 homeowners have received free legal assistance through the Project. With the passage of Maryland’s Foreclosure Mediation Act, homeowners now have a new tool in their fight against foreclosure.
Immigration Options For Survivors Of Gender-Based Violence And Human Trafficking: An Introduction To U And T Visas
Violence against women and girls is still a cruel global reality. Right now, one out of every three women in the world is a survivor of gender-based violence or abuse. These women and girls need your help! This is why the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland and the Tahirih Justice Center joined forces to recruit, train and engage volunteer lawyers to provide pro bono legal assistance to these survivors.
We invite you to join the Tahirih Justice Center in our efforts to overcome gender-based violence and to achieve justice for women and girls fleeing violence.
